The idea of the children's dance project Yo Quiero Bailar
The main idea of the YO QUIERO BAILAR (I want to dance) project is to offer our children (from 6 to 9 years old) more cultural activities. We focus on the Latin American dance styles Salsa and Bachata. The children learn a whole choreography over the course of 12 months and, after a year, present it in a dance show.
The children are part of fixed dance groups (divided according to age) and prepare step by step for the final dance show, with a lot of joy and discipline.

Your child will learn this during12 months

Gaining a sense of tact and rhythm over 2 intensive months

During 3 months, integration of body coordination, motor coordination, individual mobility as well as body awareness and the use of the right strength when dancing, in the dance style

During 7 months preparation for the choreography and formation, as well as building a strong and self-confident appearance on stage and promoting teamwork

Strengthening your personality and gaining more self-confidence

What it means to be part of a project and to work towards something (responsibly) as well as to stand on stage and present the result at the end of the year to parents, siblings, friends, neighbors etc. with pride and enthusiasm

Important information about the dance project
Requirements for the children's dance project:

If your child loves music and dancing then this is the right place for them

A large portion of joy, motivation and discipline for the upcoming, exciting dance project with other children

Parents must be aware that it is a 12-month project to learn about their children's development.
What does my child need to bring with them:

Drinking bottle

During the first 5 months:

Comfortable clothing (like for gymnastics)

Indoor/sneaker shoes (no street shoes)

During the 7 months of choreography preparation:

Show clothes (parents will be informed in advance)

Important things for dear parents:
So that the children can concentrate fully on dancing and present the end result as a big surprise when they perform, we offer parents visiting days, which will be communicated throughout the year.

Flexible termination - at any time if your child no longer wants to go to dance training
We understand that it may happen that a child may want to withdraw from dance training unexpectedly, which is why we provide the following flexibility:

If the child would like to leave during the first semester, a cancellation via email (to info@palbailador.ch) before the second semester begins. However, the semester fees will not be refunded. If there is no cancellation before the second semester starts, we assume that the child will continue to come to training and therefore the fees for the second semester will also apply.

If the child wants to leave during the second semester, that is of course a shame because he or she has already come a long way, but it is not a problem. The same rules apply in this case as in the first semester. All you need to do is send a notice of cancellation via email so that we know and it is a fixed matter that the child will no longer take part. The course fees will not be refunded here either.

It is important to us that a child has a lot of joy and fun. Because this way the parents and we also have joy - Happy child, happy parents. That's why transparency is important to us.

Prices & Registration
To be paid in advance per semester (before the start of the course):
First semester (7 months) = CHF 560.-
(1 lesson per week)
Second semester (7 months) = CHF 560.-
(1 lesson per week)

Registration for the kids's dance project
Before finally registering, it would be ideal if the child first came to a trial lesson* so that they can find out whether they like it.
